FLOURISH bakes its rustic artisan breads daily using a variety of organic flours. We carefully select our flours and grains from progressive mills, such as, King Arthur, Lindley Mills and Giustos because they process their flours without chemicals or preservatives.
Most of our breads are made partially or entirely from a natural "levain" or "sour starter." The two-day fermentation process
creates a distinctive flavor as well as a more textured dough. During this process, naturally occurring beneficial enzymes work slowly to convert grains to a more digestible format which results in a healthier bread.
